Eagle captured by Chitral resident released

CHITRAL: Officials of the wildlife department on Wednesday released in the Chitral Gol National Park a tawny eagle that was caught by a resident of Bohtuli Ongush and illegally kept in his house.
Altaf Ali Shah and other officials of the department said that the bird was released in the national park which was its habitat. They said on a tip-off they raided the house of Ibadat Shah and recovered the tawny eagle. A case under the Wildlife Act has been registered against the resident for capturing and keeping the bird at his home. –Bashir Hussain Azad
