Outgoing DC, DPO receive warm send-off at Drosh
DROSH: A group of people, led by Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir, Salahuddin Toofan and Maulana Inamul Haq, bid farewell to outgoing deputy commissioner and district police officer Chitral.
When Irshad Sodhar and Mansoor Aman reached the Drosh bazaar from Chitral, the people of Drosh garlanded them and showered rose petals on their vehicles.
The locals appreciated the performances of the two officers who have been transferred out of the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sodhar and Mr Aman said they were going out of Chitral taking good memories of their stay in Chitral, adding the people of were very hospital, peace loving and civilized.
They said other officers coming to Chitral would enjoy their stay here. They said they did whatever was possible for them for the betterment of the people of Chitral. –Syed Nazir Hussain
