NHA to hire consultant for design review of Dorah Pass road

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) has planned to widen Chitral-Garam Chashma-Dorah Pass road and intends to engage a consultant to carry out a design review and construction supervision for the 82.50 m project.

A pre-proposal conference had held during last week of April, an official of the NHA told APP on Friday.

The proposals complete in all respect in sealed envelope should reach NHA by May 15, he said adding the technical proposals shall be opened on the same day, whereas the financial proposals of only technically qualified firms shall be opened after finalization of technical evaluation.

The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved the construction of Chitral-Garam Chashma Dorah road project in August 29, 207.

Earlier in February, the NHA had invited bids for construction of the 42.5 kilometer Chitral-Garam Chashma road. The section forms a part of 85. 5 km Chitral-Garam Chashma Dorah Pass.
