ATC sentences man to life in jail in blasphemy case
The Chitral police had registered a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 against Muhammad Amin, son of Gul Zada, on May 2, 2017, for defiling the holy Quran that might have outraged religious feelings of the Mulims. After hearing the arguments presented by senior prosecutors Syed Naeem Khan and Tariq Buksh and the defence counsel, the court found incriminating evidence against the accused and convicted him.
