PM to inaugurate Golen Gol electricity in Dec: MNA
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has directed the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) to expedite the land purchase process for three gas plants to be installed at Chitral, Ayun (Broz) and Drosh.
He issued the directions during a meeting with MNA Shahzada Iftikharuddin from Chitral here.
The MNA said the prime minister would inaugurate work on the construction of the gas plants, different roads under the NHA as well as the electricity from the Golen Gol electricity during his planned to Chitral next month.
During the meeting, the prime minister discussed various developmental projects of Chitral.
The electricity from Golen Gol would be opened to both Upper and Lower Chitral.
MNA should also remind PM about the write off loan which was announced by PM Nawaz sharif but still the case is in pending and people of Chitral faces serious problems in this regard. After announcement of the write off customers stopped payments of installments and it passed three years that no formal notification has been issued by neither federal nor provincial government. After waiting for three years Agriculture Bank officials issued notices to the people in which principal amount and three years interest (piled up) was also included which put tremendous burden on the customers. Hence after 2015 floods PM announcement of Agriculture Bank loan Converted into nightmare when ADBP officials issued default notices to the loanees and put them in perplexing situation. In this golden opportunity when PM is visiting Chitral MNA is requested kindly bring this issue into the notice of PM so that he issue direction for materializing of the long standing problem and formally write off the loans which was announced by outgoing PM Nawaz Sharif in July 2015. It will be precious gift for the people of Chitral from PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and MNA Shehzada Iftikharuddin.
Both thumbs up, dear MNA Chitral for your hectic and result oriented efforts. But the piece of land for gas plant for Booni-Mulkhow and adjacent areas proposed at Qaqlasht has not been touched in the news clip, I think it is either erroneously left or land bears no cost being state land, so as no need to mention here? please look in to it again. with a load of appreciation
