Arrangements in place to start census from 25th

The second and final phase of the census will be completed on May 25 across the country. Speaking on the occasion of handing over material to the census officials here on Sunday, district census officer Abdul Akram said the process to count houses and  population would be completed in 35 days in Chitral. He said 14 charge superintendents, 63 circle supervisors and 185 enumerators would perform duty in the 370 blocks in the Chitral tehsil. He said security arrangements had also been put in place for the staff taking part in the census. He said army and police personnel would be accompanying the census staff during the process.
