Establishment of special economic zone in Chitral proposed

In a briefing to the presentation to the standing committee by the Board of Investment (BoI), it was stated that 41 special economic zone would be set up all over the country under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This was stated by MNA Shahzada Iftikharuddin, who is also a member of the NA Standing Committee on Planning Development and Reforms. Out of the total, seven special economic zones have been approved. These seven would be located at Bin Qasim Karachi, Korangi Creek Karachi Khairpur Sindh, Sheikhupura Punjab, M-3 Industrial City Faisalabad,Value Added City Faisalabad and Hattar Economic Zone Haripur.
