Installation of solar streetlights in Chitral & Booni bazaars soon
CHITRAL: Work on the installation of solar streetlights in the bazaars of Chitral and Booni towns will be started soon, said MNA Shahzada iIftikharuddin here today.
The government has approved funds to install the solar streetlights in the wake of the power crisis. The solar streetlights will help in promoting business activities that have been hampered by the outages.
The MNA Chitral says that delay in construction of the Torkhow road is due to delay in submission of the requisite documents by the Department of C& W and the provincial government. The MNA and the MPA PK-90 have been making tall claims while meeting people at Torkhow. MPA of the ruling party Ms.Fauzia and the MPA PK-90 should explain their position to the people of Torkhow with respect to the allegations made by the MNA and the negligence of the government of KPK and its department of C & W, if any. The Executive Engineer C& W Chitral should also apprise the public about the latest position of the work-in -progress. Torkhow road has become a worst example of negligence and corruption of the C& W department and the KPK government for the last many years. The public is not ready to tolerate such things any more. Corrupt minds need to be drained and negligent heads are to be rolled this time. Enough is enough.
