Schoolteacher held for beating students released

CHITRAL: A reacher arrested for beating female students has been released.

The teacher was beating the students for coming late to the school. However, the lawyer of the teacher contended before the court that the video clip was fake and doctored as a conspiracy against him.

An official at the Drosh police station, when contacted, told ChitralToday that a few weeks ago the bail application of the teacher had been rejected.

He said the hearing of the bail application of the teacher was again scheduled to be taken up on Monday but he declined to confirm if the suspect was released.
