Renovation work at DHQ hospital

The deputy commissioner office said that the washrooms at the hospital were being repaired and renovated using contributions from officers of the district administration, their friends and others. In the second phase, all washrooms of the Women and Children Hospital would also be renovated. All the choked pipes, sinks and commodes are being replaced. Tiles for these washrooms have been purchased from Peshawar and new pipelines would also be laid. Lights, mirrors and exhaust fans would also be installed. It may be noted that the washrooms had been in a very poor conditions creating not only problems for the patients and visitors but also foul smell on the premises of the hospital. The hospital caters to a large number of patients and their attendants coming from the town area as well as far-off valleys of the district.]]>
