Chitrali students in Karachi shocked over Susum tragedy

The cabinet and members of the CSA expressed their deepest sense of shock over the incident and sent out messages of sympathy to the bereaved families over the martyrdom of the students. The students were buried under a massive avalanche while going home after appearing in their 9th and 10th class exams at GHS Susum on March 19. A umber of Chitrali Madrassah students also participated in the recitation along with 25 other college and university students in Karachi. The participants offered special prayers for Chitral as it has gone through a lot of natural disasters since last year. The students also prayed for the safety of their homeland in the coming summer and after. Commenting on the incident, the president of CSA, Mr. Sajjad Ali Shah, said: “It was a great loss not only for Karimabad but also for all Chitral. All of us are equally saddened by this tragic incident and the students who lost their lives are in a higher place now.” May Almighty Allah give strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.” ]]>
