The members of the delegation included Abdul Wali Khan Advocate, Abdul Latif, Nazir Ahmed, Faisal Salahuddin, Shahbaz Ahmed, Rehmat Wali Khan Advocate, Shahid Ahmed, Hyder Nabi and representatives from Shishi Koh.
The delegation discussed with the chief minister matters pertaining to the establishment of a university in Chitral, reconstruction of the Reshun powerhouse, Qaqlasht housing scheme, Ahtak water channel and construction of protection walls along the rivers. Besides, the rehabilitation of the flood and earthquake-affected people was also discussed. The delegation requested the chief minister to provide funds for the construction of the Shihi Koh road.
The chief minister assured the delegation that funds would be provided for the construction of the protection walls along the rivers. He said he would also try his best to arrange funds for the construction of the Shishi Koh road.
Abdul Wali Khan advocate complained to the chief minister that due to the carelessness and inefficiency of government officials, people of Chitral were facing lots of hardship in almost all spheres of life.
The chief minister on the occasion directed that work on the Qaqlasht housing schemes should be launched without further delay.]]>
