APML Chitral president removed

BOONI, Aug 26: The general secretary of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Chitral, Nasir Shah Peerzada, on Wednesday claimed that the district president of the party, Khalid Pervez, has been sacked from the party for his alleged involvement in corruption.

It may be noted that NAB Khyber Pakhtunkha has detained Khaled Pervez along with four others on the charge os misusing forest royalty funds.

In a statement here, Peerzada said that decision to sack Khalid Pervez was taken by APML central vice-president Sardar Dilshad Rind. He said the APML vice-president also abolished the party’s cabinet in Chitral and announced to reorganize the party at the district level. In the meanwhile, Peerzada was made district coordinator of the party till a new cabinet is formed.

He said that on the directions of the APML high-ups, the party would be reorganized after removing the reservations of all the disgruntled party activists so that APML can become a true representative party of Musharraf’s lovers.
