Call to join hands with BLSO to help affectees

blsoThe BLSO is also in contact with relief agencies to help the people in the area. The displaced people are living under the open sky. The BLSO has also mobilized the local communities and started collecting donations to support the affected communities not only in their own jurisdictions but also in other part of whole subdivision Mastuj. The BLSO provided eight tents, 101 blankets, 11 water kites besides supplying drinking water through the local rented vehicles. It also provided different items like biscuits, chips, sweets etc to the affected children. The situation is still very critical; therefore, the BLSO volunteers continuously providing services to the affected people. The BLSO staff is also in close contact with local administration 24 hours a day. It also appeals to philanthropists and relief and donor agencies to immediately help the flood affected people in upper Chitral. ]]>
