Well a good initiative indeed and a well written piece also. Sir, Unfortunately we educate our children with the only reason being that he/she will earn money and be a financial support to the family. This is enforced verbally and non verbally by the parents and teachers on continuous basis. This attitude masks the true objective of education which is developing “CIVIC SENSE”. Civic sense makes civilized society. We lack it so we are uncivilized from top to bottom. It comes from good education and education starts from womb of mother. So it is the shared responsibility of parents and teachers. But Education system and curriculums must be revisited, and the objective of education has to be redefined and told to the coming generation.
