Two killed in road accident

CHITRAL, May 9: Two persons died and two female police constables were injured in separate road accidents on Saturday. According to the police, a jeep (PSC 3290) while going to Torkhow from Booni fell into the river at Istaro village. As a result, its driver Mohammad Rafi and Shaukat Ali died on the spot. Their bodies were recovered from the river by local volunteers and police. In the second accident, a police van was on its way from Chitral to Booni when it fell into the river near Barenis village. As a result, two women police constables were injured. They were taken to the DHQ hospital Chitral where their condition was out of danger.
