Flying leap to darkness

For the last seven years, one has been sailing on the same boat, nowadays, the way it is being driven by, not the crew, but by the currents of the sea, making it frenzied to sail in the coming days ahead. alhajThere had been handful sailors, 12 nautical miles across state jurisdiction, were comfortable with it; in forecasting, predicting and constructively disapproving what was, is and be, had a positive impact on the political, socio-economic and religious dynamics in society out of sailing boat. They were discussing ideas, reasons, rationale, its impact on the sea and the folk inhibiting in the mainland, rather to discuss and criticizing individuals, interests and point scoring every time. This is what happening nowadays, is tantamount of Augustine ‘theory of language’ in which ‘no one can jump out of his or her linguistic skin’ is what one expresses is limited in its nature being ‘creature’s knowledge’. This theory of Augustine may suits with our context well. Though, the language barrier once had, doesn’t exist at all today. Technology has generated automated system of translation and language changing bar for the user. And in every place, event, forum and country, there are translators and spokesmen to express in ‘verbatim’ what ones wanted to say. We have learned the basic skills of language but haven’t understood the ethics of expression yet. Our folk have been multiplying their desires, misunderstanding and offering ambiguous interpretations which focus either individual first or institutions later without a rationale of what is being discussed on what reasons? Mustaq Ahmad Yousufi in his novel ‘Aab –i-gum’ writing about human desires while relating it with human whims and status- driven desires, gives an allegory of a horse , for a man goes with a unwieldy circumstances , get nothing; rather a commotion and a immense beating afterwards. While writing about ‘human’ on page 82 he writes ‘is the only animal keeps its venomous poison on heart’ as manifests in our folk expressions , been let without being considerate about its excessive usage and their repercussion on societal milieu. What one was thinking and what it happened to be: I was thinking they are sailing towards the very destination but they navigated without a set intention. I was thinking they are rendering to settle the dust but they were dusting what has yet been settled. I was thinking they had no time to write but they had a lot of time nothing to write. I was thinking they are walking side by side with the world but they are running after it far behind. I was thinking they are by nature defensive but they are defensive being offensive. I was thinking they will create an environment of grace but they relate it with the past and disgrace. I was thinking they are learning to grow but they are growing to bow. I was thinking they are reasoned on every matter but the seasoned on every reason. I was thinking they will be setting a trend but they are letting the trend. I was thinking they are learning to write but they are writing to fight. I was thinking they will converge to the point but they diverged sailing left to right. This is what happening in the open sea, gives a bold impression that we are literate enough to write one’s name and nothing more than that. We are flying with a vanity gripped a pen with hope of saving face and life likely leap into darkness. The way nowadays used to sail… remember your track record will be related and attributed with the crew members who are sailing one’s boats to get the people reach to their very destination for a long time.
