Lowari pass opened for light traffic

CHITRAL, Nov 9: After two-day closure the Lowari pass, the only land route linking Chitral with other parts of the country, reopened for light traffic on Sunday. On Sunday morning, passengers from Peshawar, Islamabad and other areas reached Chitral. On the other hand passengers stranded at Chitral also moved to down country on Sunday. The Lowari pass route had closed after rain on Thursday. Passengers who stuck on both sides of the Lowari pass at the time of its closure were later allowed to use the under-construction tunnel.–Abbas Hussain Chitrali]]>
