As there is no rescue department at the public sector, Focus is playing in key role in imparting training and engaging volunteers from the local communities, especially the youth, and training them besides creating awareness among the people. As part of the efforts to create resilient communities, FOCUS not only trains local communities in search and rescue operations but also establishes community stockpiles by storing limited quantities of non-food items to help local communities cope with sudden, small scale, disasters locally. volunteer2 copy]]>
