Student association office-bearers take oath

KARACHI, Oct 20: The new office-bearers of Chitral Students Association Karachi chapter wee administered oath here on Sunday. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Aga Khan Jimkhana, where MPA from upper Chitral Sardar Hussain and Assistant Professor Dr. Hakim Shah of Dow University of Health and Sciences took oath from the students representatives. The Chitral Students Association was formed in 1962 at Peshawar and since then it has been working for the betterment of Chitral students. After Peshawar this association was formed in Karachi for the help and encouragement of Chitral students. MPA Sardar Hussain while addressing the oath-taking ceremony stressed upon the students to get higher education with enthusiasm and hard work because progress depended on education. He also asked the students to keep away from the menace of drugs and anti-social activities and concentrate only on education to serve the country.
