CHITRAL, Oct 15: The newly elected amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Chitral chapter Haji Maghfirat Shah took oath of his office here on Wednesday administered by Maulana Ghulam Muhammad.
Addressing on the occasion, he expressed his determination to make Chitral a stronghold of the party in a short span of time so that it acquires landslide victory in both the local and general elections.
He claimed that Jamaat-e-Islami was the only political party in the country which was truly democratic where decisions of all kinds were taken by the elected bodies and office-bearers were elected rather than selected.
The new amir, who has district nazim of Chitral, said that JI has always
been striving for the rights of people and he will continue it with more vigour and energy which was one of the aims of his party.]]>
