Avalanche blocks access to Reshun powerhouse

CHITRAL, March 30: The recent rains and snowfall blocked roads and wiped out water pipelines and electricity pylons in different parts of Chitral. Due to the absence of any government agency to help the residents restore and repair damaged roads and other infrastructures, the residents are facing lots of hardship. In the picture (above) taken by GH Farooqui, the people of Reshun village in upper Chitral trying to clear the road to the Reshun powerhouse which was blocked by an avalanche. ]]>
