Funds for incomplete road to Kuru demanded

DROSH, March 26: A vital road linking Kuru, a village near Drosh, with other parts of Chitral is in a dilapidated condition and needs urgent repair. I being the information secretary of the Insaf Students Federation (ISF) Drosh would like to bring this public issue into the notice of the provincial government, which is led by PTI, and request the authorities to release funds for the repair of the road to resolve the problems of the area people. Though the previous government had sanctioned funds for the repair of the road, these were peanuts and could not complete the work. As a result, the road remains unprepared. The people of Kuru now demand that the PTI government should release more funds so that the project could be completed. It may be noted that Kuru is a stronghold of the PTI and the residents are justified to demand that the PTI MPA on woman seat, Ms Fouzia Bibi, should take up the matter with the concerned authorities in order to get the road repaired without further delay.
