<![CDATA[CHITRAL, Dec 26: If provided with opportunities and proper guidance, our youth can do wonder in different fields, especially sports and other extra-curricular activities. The need of the hour is that, the private sector and philanthropists should come forward and provide the needy children with the opportunities so that the youth can exploit their potentials and play their role in the national and international level. These views were expressed by speakers during a function held at the Government High School Balach which was organized by Nasheman Welfare Society. Fazale Malik was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over by Khowar poet and artist Iqbaluddin Sahar. Khush Bahar Shah, the president of the society, told the gathering that since its establishment in 1996 the society has been making efforts to provide education to the needy children, free medicines to the poor patients and creating awareness about the rights of women in backward areas. Chitral football association president Hussain Ahmed said Chitrali youth possessed great potential for football and currently three players were playing in the Pakistan football team. He regretted that the public representatives of Chitral were not taking an interest in promoting games and sports in the valley.–Syed Nazir Husain Shah]]>

Mr Hussain Ahmed is at helm of affairs at Chitral Football Association from time immorial. Can somebody ask him what was his role in the professional lives of these three players who are in Pakistan team. These Chitrali players are not there because of the efforts of DFA Chitral but because of their hard work, all of these players Zia, Rasul and Syed Ghazi` started playing while at Islamia college Peshawar and from there they never looked back.
Mr Ahmed actions speak louder than words
