Kalash tribal leader dies

CHITRAL, Nov 15: Katar Singh Kalash, a prominent figure of the Rumbur valley known for his peace-loving nature, hospitality and philanthropy, died after protracted illness in Peshawar. His body was brought to his hometown and buried after three-day-long rituals including gunfire and musical gathering. A large number of people from the Kalash valleys attended his last rituals.
