DROSH, Nov 6: Four officials of Pakistan Red Crescent were stranded on the Lowari top when the pass was clsoed during the snow fall on Tuesday. However, police officials came to their rescue and took them to safety towards Chitral. In the meantime, rain continued in almost all parts of Chitral bringing a cold wave and shutting communication network. Snowfall in upepr areas was also reported. The closure of the Lowari top road has created troubles for the residents of the valley while the under-construction tunnel has not yet been opened. Police officials here said a team had reached to the rescue of the Hilal Ahmer officials who were coming to Chitral from Peshawar.
