Science & technology contest concludes

CHITRAL, Nov 4: The three-day science, technology and arts competition organized concluded at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Chitral on Friday. sin lasht hadThe event provided an opportunity to the participants to exhibit their projects besides encouraging other students to take part in educational and scientific activities. People along with a large number of students and teachers took keen interest in the projects put on display by the students. As many 252 students from 28 educational institutions from across Chitral had put 83 projects on display for the competition. The experts on the conclusion selected the projects of 27 students for the first, second and third awards. Pakitan Teheek-e-Insaf Chitral president Abdul Lateef was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony while the even was presided over by AKES Chitral general manager Mir Zaman Khan. Students on the occasion also presented tableaus. Later, the chief guest and Kerry Scshofield, the principal of the Landlands Schhool and College, distributed the awards among the students.—S.
