Kuragh students observe teachers day with a difference

KURAGH, Oct 6: The World Teachers’ Day was also observed at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Kuragh on Saturday. two copyAs the first segment of the day’s celebrations, students from various grades continued as teachers just to acknowledge the prophetic job of their educators while the teachers played the role of the students. Safira Hayat, who was the principal of the school for four hours, termed the activity as a challenging but useful to realize each other’s problems and make teaching-learning process prolific. The second segment of the celebration was a function arranged by all the classes collectively to show appreciation for the services of their teachers. The Muhsana Rehmat of grade XII recited naat while Naila Banu highlighted the aims and objectives of the programme. She, on behalf of AKHSS team, felicitates all the teachers on the planet. The guests were formally welcomed by Grade X students. Highlighting teachers’ invaluable services, students from various grades shared their views in an innovative way – as a culture in the school. Mrs. Sultana Burhanuddin, the Principal of AKHSS Kuragh, concluded the program with her speech. “Teachers are leaders and change agents,” she said while paying homage to the teachers.
