  1. Ahmad, Islamabad says

MNA Iftikharuddin’s claim of up-grading Radio Pakistan Chitral is nothing than a political statement, which will never see the dawn of the day. We used to hear these sugar-coated speeches from our former MNA Shahzada Mohiuddin in the past as well. He remained member of National Assembly standing committee on information and broadcasting, a powerful parliamentary body, for complete five years but instead of improving its performance he opted to listen to renowned folk singers like Baba Fatheuddin, Shujaul Haq, Mansoor Ali Shabab, Mohammad Hassan and Bulbul-e-Chitral Ameer Gul Ameer’s all-time hit songs. Wish if he could have paid a little attention toward improvement or up-gradation of Radio Pakistan Chitral, which is giving a look of a Nazeer Music Centre, Krup Risht Bazar Chitral.

The up-gradation of Radio Pakistan Chitral is yet another promise made by MNA Iftikharuddin like his recent interview to a newspaper about exploring the untapped natural resources of the district.
But a pin-drop silence from his side regarding allegations of his involvement in timber smuggling levelled by Sardar Hussain of the PPP is a million dollar question, which needs to be answered. Dear member National Assembly, I would like to stress on your own words where you have once again claimed to promote and preserve the culture of Chitral.
But please look into the matter of the timer smuggling allegation with the same spirit as the latter is more important than up-gradation of radio Pakistan Chitral, which is already stands at its last leg due to poor quality stuff being broadcast by the daily wager presenters.
