Volunteers restore water supply to Booni

BOONI, Aug 18: The water supply line from Booni Gol to the Booni town was damaged due to the recent rains and floods in the area, leaving a large number of people without water for many days. In order to repair the damaged supply line and restore the water supply, a team of volunteers and health department officials led by assistant commissioner Minhasuddin launched work and repaired the damaged line. The volunteers worked for over six hours and laid the over 300-foot-long pipeline from the Booni Gol and restored the water supply. The assistant commissioner on the occasion praised the people of Booni for their voluntary work and assured them that the local administration would always stand by them to carry out social services.
