DROSH, Aug 18: Almost all the villages of Chitral, even in the far-off valleys, have been flooded by motorcycles driven by young people without driving licences.
These half-trained drivers of the two wheelers have not only put their own lives on danger but also created a mess for the pedestrians and motorists alike. In the latest drive, the Drosh police have started impounding the motorcycles which were being used without proper documentation or by underage people and youth without driving licences.
A police team led by ASI Bulbul Wali on Sunday impounded 10 such motorcycles in the Drosh police station. The residents of the area said the police should continue the campaign on a regular basis to discourage the youth from driving the motorcycles without proper documentation and by untrained youth. If unchecked, such an activity can also elad to fatal accidents, they added.]]>
