CHITRAL, Aug 16: Floods have damaged another 21 houses at Jughor, near Chitral. According to the residents, the Jughor Gol nullah damaged six houses completely and 15 others partially. During the previous flood, the surface of the nullah was raised after heavy stones and debris were accumulated on the nullah. Last night, heavy floods completely damaged six more houses. As many as 15 houses were damaged partially. The floods also damaged the road and a bridge besides washing away the pipelines of drinking water and an irrigation channel. The residents of Jughor have demanded deseltation (bhal safai) of Jughor channel by removing heavy stones and debris from the river.
