AKU-EB announces results

CHITRAL, July 19: The Aga Khan University Examination Board declared the results of secondary school examination held in May 2012-13 in its affiliated schools in Pakistan. From the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Chitral (boys) Amir Sohail, Saqib Azam and Imtiazul Hassan obtained 443, 441 and 437 out of 525 respectively and grabbed first, second and third positions in the school. Mohammad Yasin by obtaining 429, Mohammad Salim, 418 and Akbar Hassan 417 of Grade-9 secured first, second and third position in the school. From the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Kuragh (girls) Sidra Shehbaz with 455, Nousheen Iqbal 445 and Hira Karim out of 444 of Grade -9 secured first, second and third position respectively in the school. From Grade-10, Fehmida Hassan, Sundas Mehreen and Bibi Amina obtained 465, 459 and 443 and held first, second and third positions in school. This year, AKU-EB tested students in over 90 subjects at 32 centres in 28 cities across Pakistan. While the overall passing rate for all SSC candidates was 81.1 per cent, in SSC-Part 1 fifty seven (57) per cent girls scored an A-Grade or above, and in SSC-Part II thirty nine (39) per cent girls obtained an A-Grade or above.]]>
