Chitrali doctor made assistant professor
CHITRAL, June 23: Dr Siddique Ahmad, of Singoor village Chitral, has been promoted as assistant professor of surgery at the Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar. Dr Ahmad did MBBS in 1996 from the Khyber Medical College Peshawer, specialized in surgery in 2005 from the College of Physicians and Surgeon Pakistan and was appointed as senior registrar in 2010. He is the first Chitrali doctor to b appointed as an assistant professor in any medical college/university. With this, he has also become the examiner of Khyber Medicsl University for undergraduate medical examinations and supervisor of the college of Physcian and Surgeon Pakistan for postgraduate students in the subject of surgery. He is the younger brother of Eng Bashir Ahmad and Dr Gulzar Ahmad, child specialist at the DHQ Hospital Chitral.—Adnan Zain]]>
