PTDC tries to attract tourists with special packages

RAWALPINDI, June 2: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has re-launched summer tour packages and special rates for its hotels, motels, resorts situated in most attractive tourists places in the country. This was stated by Managing Director PTDC Mir Shahjahan Khetran while inaugurating PTDC Rawalpindi-Naran daily bus service here on Saturday. He said that group tours for families and students to the tourist spots like Murree, Ayubia, Shogran, Naran, Lake Saiful Maluk, Swat Valley, Chitral, including Kalash Valley, Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu and Neelum Valley, AJK, are being offered on special rates which included breakfast, accommodation in PTDC motels and comfortable transport. He also announced 30% discount on accommodation in its Ayubia and Naran resorts during the holy month of Ramadan. About 50% discount will also be offered on accommodation during Ramadan in PTDC Motels at Saidu Sharif, Miandam, Chitral, Bomburet (Kalash Valley), Mastuj, Phandar, Gupis, Gilgit, Hunza, Sost (Pak-China border), Rama Lake, Skardu, Khaplu and Besham. Mir Shahjahan Khetran told that in order to facilitate the tourists, PTDC’s air-conditioned daily bus service from Rawalpindi to Naran has been resumed from today. The bus will leave at 9am from Flashman’s Hotel, Saddar, daily and will reach at PTDC Motel Naran at 5 pm. Similarly, the bus will start its journey to Rawalpindi from Naran at 9am and reach here at 5 pm. One way, per person fare of the bus will be Rs1,500 while there will be 50% discount for children.–APP  ]]>
