Seat will be presented to Musharraf as a gift from Chitralis: Iftikhar

DROSH, May 13: MNA-elect Shahzada Iftikharuddin on Monday said by supporting the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) in the May 11 elections, the people of Chitral have once again proved that they never forget their benefactors. He stated this while addressing a huge crowd at his residence near Drosh where he was brought in a bog procession of vehicles from Chitral after winning the elections. Shahzada Iftikhar said that the people of Chitral used their right of franchise in support of Musharraf and he would be holding the seat till the former president comes out clean of all the fabricated cases registered against him. “This seat will be presented to Gen Musharraf as a gift from the people of Chitral when he crosses all the barriers created in his way and comes to Chitral,” he added. He said as long as he would be representing Chitral in the parliament his first priority would be to serve the people of Chitral and resolve their problems. A large number of people had gathered in his residence to receive the MNA-elect. Upon arrival from Chitral, he was garlanded by the people.  ]]>
