We will bring Islamic revolution: JUI-F candidates

CHITRAL, May 9: If voted to power, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) of Maulana Fazlur Rehman will bring an Islamic revolution in Pakistan. jui2 copyAddressing public meetings at Drosh and Ayun on Thursday, JUI-F candidate for NA-32 Maulvi Hidayatur Rehman, and Maulvi Abdul Rehman, candidate for PK-89, said their party would bring an Islamic revolution in the country if the people voted it to power on May 11. They said an Islamic revolution was the only way to steer the country out of the crises. Abdul Rehman said when he was the MPA he had got approved a water supply scheme for Drosh worth Rs130 million and upgraded the rural health centre (RHC) and many schools in Arandu. However, the PPP and ANP coalition government failed to post staff in these upgraded schools. He said he would open his office at Drosh and would stay in teh town  if he was elected as an MPA again. He also claimed that during the MMA government he had blacktopped the seven kilometers Arandu road but nothing was done after the end of their government in the province in 2007. Haji Hider Raza of Drosh, who remained with the PPP for 21 years, on the occasion announced to join the JUI-F. Similarly, some other politicians also joined the JUI-F. The JUIF also arranged another public meeting at Ayun which was attended by a large number of people, including the Kalash community. Sharaf Kalash announced to join the JUI-F and asked other community to support the party. Abdul Rehman, Hidayatur Rehman and other residents of Ayun spoke on the occasion. They claimed that the Ismaili community of Garam Chashma had also assured the JUI-F tehir full support and rejected Salim Khan, former provincial minister and a candidate for the provincial assembly seat. The JUI-F candidates assured the people that they would resolve their problems after coming to power. A large number of people attended the public meetings at the two towns.]]>
