Ammunition recovered, two arrested

CHITRAL, April 27: The Chitral police have recovered arms and ammunition from two persons of Jughur village and arrested them under-explosive act. Station house officer of Chitral Inspector Zafar Ahmed identified the persons as Mohammad Ghayas and Shujaur Rahman, both of Jughur village. He described the recovered arms and ammunition as Kalashnikovs, pistol, hand grenade, explosives and rounds of pistol and Kalashnikov in large number. He said that investigation started from the accused may lead to bust a number of similar activities who are poised to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of Chitral on the occasion of coming general elections.–Zahiruddin]]>
