PK-90: PPP candidate wins full support of party workers

No party should divide people on sectarian lines: Fazle Rabbi

CHITRAL, April 5: Senior workers of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in upper Chitral have expressed full confidence in the PPP candidate for the provincial assembly seat of PK-90.

The senior workers at a meeting in Booni hailed the services of Syed Sardar Hussain for the development of the area. The meeting was presided over by former MPA Zainul Abideen. Speakers on the occasion also paid rich tribute to the PPP founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. They said Mr Bhutoo had rendered meritorious services for Chitral.

The speakers said Sardar Hussain was a dedicated worker of the party and as the UC nazim Mastuj had also worked tirelessly for the area. They said he is an honest and a devoted leader and a man of character having stainless past. They asked the workers of other parties to cast their votes in favour of Sardar Hussain.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Hussain said he would be working for creation of jobs to adjust over 12,000 jobless youth in the area. Besides, he would also establish colleges, schools and technical centres in the area.

Those who spoke on the occasion were Ghulam Mustafa, former tehsil nazim Shamsur Rehman, Abdul Hussain, Saifullah, Miraj Hussain, Wiqar Ali Khan, Rahmat Salam, Suleman Shah, Saifuddin, Nawab Khan Advocate, Fida Ali Khan Advocate, Syed Burhan Shah Advocate, Mohammad Hakeem Advocate, Zainul Abideen and others.—G.H.
