Chitrali youth dies in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD, Feb 2: A Chitrali youth died under mysterious circumstances in Rawalpindi on Saturday morning. His colleagues told chitraltoday.net that Mr Rashid, a nephew of Dawood Matin of Booni, came to stay with them at Shamsabad on Friday night. Three persons, including Imitiaz of Power and Elahi Baksh Lal of Khuz, lived in the house. Their neighbor, Mohammad Khan of Brep said he was sitting with them at night and came to his own residence after midnight. In the early morning on Saturday when they made noise, Mohammad Khan said he again went to their house and found all the four men vomiting. Upon inquiry, they said at about 2am they went out and ate Parathas in a hotel. Then they came back and took a Chitrali herb called ‘Kheli Kheli’ and drank lots of water. Soon they started vomiting. When their condition deteriorated, they were shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital where Mr Rashid died. The three others were shifted to PIMS where they were out of danger. Reports said Mr Rashid worked in an army organization. His body was taken to an army hospital by a military ambulance and was to be shifted to his hometown of Booni by the evening.]]>
