Governor’s vehicle catches fire
RAWALPINDI, Dec 30: The official vehicle of Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Pir Karam Ali Shah was burnt after a fire broke out in an auto workshop near Mareer Chowk on Sunday. However, nobody was reported burnt or injured in the fire. The fire erupted in the early hours of Sunday and engulfed four vehicles, including the Land Cruiser of the governor. The fire also damaged another auto workshop in the neighbourhood. Shortly after the fire broke out, thick clouds of black smoke could be seen in the area from a distance; however, firefighters from emergency services rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire. It took firefighters more that two hours to control the fire.]]>
