Economics workshop held at AWKU Chitral campus

CHITRAL, Dec 22: The Economics Department of Abdul Wali Khan University Bacha Khan Campus Chitral organized a two-day workshop on “applied research”  for MSc students of third semester, says a press release. [caption id="attachment_6516" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="A participant speaks at the workshop."][/caption] Faculty members and resource persons delivered interactive presentations on topics related to HEC research format, questionnaire designing, data collection, data coding, importance of applied research, operation of software such as Ms Excel and SPSS in research work, hypothesis development, methodology of research, writing research report, sharing experiences and results and lastly research paradigm with reference to Chitral. Faculty members Mr. Safdar Hussain, Prof. Ghani ur Rehman, Miss Toufiq Ahmad and Dr. Inayat Ullah Faizi (TI) delivered lectures at the workshop. Resource person Mr. Nizam highlighted the significance of Ms Excell and statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The workshop was first event in the series of sessions for Masters level students in order to build their capacity in research methodology.]]>
