Football player drowns

CHITRAL, Dec 10: A young man drowned in Chitral River while trying to catch his football on Sunday. According to SHO police station Chitral, Matiur Rehman, 30, son of Rahmat Aziz Khan, a resident of Kushum, was playing football on the bank of Chitral river. During the match, when the football was kicked by another player into the river, he jumped into the water to retrieve it. However, he was swept away. The body ahs not been recovered yet.—G.H.
