Five killed in accident at Reshun Gol

CHITRAL, Sept 13: At least five persons were killed and three others injured when a jeep fell into a ravine in upper Chitral on Wednesday night. According to the local police, the jeep overloaded with firewood with eight persons on-board was going to Kargeen from Chitral when it plunged into the Reshun Gol on Wednesday night. As a result, five people were killed on the spot and three others sustained injuries. The deceased were identified as Sher Akbar (driver) from Kargeen); Syed Nasab Ali Shah, Rehmat Raza, residents of Chapali; and Khoshan of Chapali. The locals and police reached the scene of the accident, pulled up the bodies and injured from the ravine and shifted them to hospital.–Waqar Ahmed View Larger Map]]>
