PML-Q names new district president

CHITRAL, July 29: Al-Haj Eidul Hussain has been appointed as district president of PML-Q by the provincial president of the party, Syed Qasim Shah. Addressing a press conference here, the central convener of the party Dr Raj Shaheen said Chitral was the stronghold of the party as its candidates were elected to the provincial and National Assembly in the last general elections. He said on the demand of the party workers, the central leadership of the party, including Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi, will visit Chitral soon after Ramazan. He said the newly-appointed district president had been directed to reorganize the party on sound footings for which all possible resources and help would be provided to him.
