Man throws girl into river

CHITRAL, July 22: A young girl was thrown into the Garam Chashma River near Seenlasht village by an alleged jilted lover. However, the girl succeeded in saving her life. According to the Chitral police, the girl had reached the village from Karachi along with a resident of Seenlasht. Upon reaching in the villae, this married man wanted to get the girl married to his young brother but she refused. As a result, the accsued pushed her into the river and escaped from the scene. Luckily, however, the girl clinged to some tree roots along the river and later passersby saved her life. The Chitral police lodged an FIR against the man and arrested him.
