Chitrali traditional dress wins award

ISLAMABAD, April 22: Noorul Wahab Saba, son of Noorul Saba, a resident of Moreder, Chitral, won All Pakistan Inter-Universities Cultural Dress Competition held at Preston University Islamabad on April 16, 2012.

Mr Wahab is a student of economics at Islamia College University, Peshawar, and he  represented Chitral at the cultural competition. People from Chitral said it was not only a big win for young Wahab but also a recognition of the unique culture and tradition of Chitral at the national level. Such events  and exposures would be a catalyst for further promoting the traditional dress of Chitral.–Afaq Ali Muluk
