Thousands attend Qaqlasht Festival

The four-day festival will conclude on Sunday (April 22). On Friday, a polio walk was also held at the venue where district government officials administered drops to children and highlighted the importance of the campaign to eradicate the crippling disease. Those who spoke on the occasion included district health officer Chitral, Medical superintendent of the DHQ hospital, and town municipal officer M. Zahiruddin. The walk was arranged under the aegis of the district health department and the Chitral Heritage and Environment Protection Society.  ]]>
