Three lawyers join PTI after quitting Jamaat-e-Islami, PML-N
Addressing a joint press conference here, flanked by the district president of the PTI Abdul Latif Khan, the lawyers – Gul Hayat Khan, Shamsul Islam and Qazi Mohammad Ishaque – said they were strongly convinced that it was only Imran Khan who had the ability to drive the country of the crises. They said accountability of the corrupt politicians was possible only if Imran Khan comes to power and it was in this context that the people across the country have determined to vote PTI into power. The senior lawyer from Booni, Gul Hayat Khan and Qazi Ishaque had left Jamaat-e-Islami to join the PTI. However, they said they had developed no difference regarding ideology of the party but the party had failed to adopt a revolutionary step to bring about revolution in the country. Shamsul Islam, who left the PML-N, was critical of its leadership for deviating from its basic principles which led him to change his loyalty. A retired junior commissioned officer of Pakistan Army from upper Chitral Wazir Aman Shah was also among those to announce his decision to join the party. He had no political affiliation before.–Zahiruddin]]>
